 FARMER, an acronym for Fellowship for Agri-Resource Management and Entrepreneurship Research, is a non-governmental agriculture development organization in the State of
Assam with current operational jurisdiction covering the entire north eastern region of India.
FARMER serves as a knowledge integrator, facilitator and operates as a network of multidisciplinary project –based Fellows drawn from varied institutions.
Through
partnership and fellowship-based multidisciplinary team
building, FARMER endeavors to unlock complementary
knowledge within institutions.
By
means of consultation and by engaging in consortium
projects, FARMER helps organizations improve their links
with intermediaries and knowledge users.
Since
its inception, FARMER has worked closely with users of
agricultural knowledge in credit, inputs, market, value
addition, entrepreneurship development and policy. |
